EqualWeb is delighted to announce that we've added the YMCA of Greater Houston to our ever-growing list of exemplary clients.

EqualWeb will provide full Web accessibility services to the Y, assisting this stalwart organization, founded in 1886, to remove any digital barriers on its websites to the disabled. "As an organization which actively supports the social inclusion of all people, the Y is excited to enhance our websites to provide more accessible features," John Cardone, Chief Brand Officer at the YMCA of Greater Houston, says. "We believe our work with EqualWeb will not only elevate but reaffirm our equity work- a key part of the Y's mission," Cardone added.

As of today, the YMCA of Greater Houston joins the laudable effort toward web equality, addressing accessibility issues ranging from motor, visual or auditory impairments to epilepsy or aging.

Erez Bahat, CEO of EqualWeb, commented on the exciting news, praising the Y for "showing its commitment to Houstonians by making its website equal and accessible for everyone, and we at EqualWeb are excited and proud to take part in it."

From now on, EqualWeb's cutting-edge accessibility tool and services allow equal website access on YMCA's YMCA Houston and Camp Cullen web pages. Their updated websites use EqualWeb's powerful and robust "hybrid approach," which enhances digital accessibility with human expertise as well as artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning.

Moving forward, the Y will enjoy our advanced technological features of the Text Reader (on-screen text read aloud); Voice Command (voice commands of the users via their microphone); Color Adjustment (viewing the site in any color variation); and Font Sizing (tailored for various reading disorders, this includes a stream of modifying textual features).

Indeed, we are proud to add the YMCA of Greater Houston to our long list of industry-leading clients such as Lenovo, Nutella, Adidas, Bosch, Miami Heat, Subaru, and many more.
